  • 8 Oz beef sirloin thinly sliced
  • 8 Oz shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 Tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 small onion sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper sliced
  • 1 Cup sugar snap peas
  • 1 Cup broccoli florets
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or noodles for serving
  • Optional garnish: sliced green onions and sesame seeds

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and cornstarch. Add the sliced beef and shrimp to the marinade, and toss to coat. Let it marinate for 15-20 minutes.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add the marinated beef and shrimp to the skillet, reserving the marinade. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the beef is browned and the shrimp is pink. Remove the beef and shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, heat another tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the sliced onion, red bell pepper, sugar snap peas, and broccoli florets. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are crisp-tender.
  • Return the beef and shrimp to the skillet with the vegetables. Pour the reserved marinade over the mixture and stir well to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce has thickened and everything is heated through.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve the shrimp and beef stir fry over cooked rice or noodles. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds if desired.
